La Paz mayor Mark Israel Bernos was killed on January 13, 2006 at the height of a basketball game during the town’s fiesta celebration and Abra congressman Luis Bersamin on December 16, 2006, in front of Mt. Carmel Church in Quezon City on while attending a wedding. Both were supposedly eyeing the Governorship position for the 2007 elections.

It is very expensive and you are violating the most important commandment “Love your neighbor as you love yourself”. It is punishable by spiritual and physical death and other bad karma that may put you in a state of good as dead while you are still alive and bed-ridden. Look around you and witness those are suffering from it where all kinds of remedies have been applied including the power of their prostituted wealth but to no avail. Just do the right thing which is far cheaper and exciting and just watch how good karma affects your journey towards a meaningful and fruitful life. Besides, after the national government done with the “Big Fish” you will be then next or whoever dreaming to corrupt government funds. This includes the contractors, COA, and other perpetrators of lawlessness. So, ask yourself one more time “Is it worth it to kill my political foes or voters who vomit me especially if they are God-fearing like my great-great grandparents”? Where is my conscience now?
By the way, what happened to the suggestion of Rimat Ti Abra for a seperate thread exclusively for all the candidates where they would be afforded with a level playing field of campaigning regardless of their political status? Please refer it further to one of your previous popular stories entitled something like “Rules of Engagement” if my memory serves me right.

We already tried his opponents and doesn’t makes sense if we are going to trust them again. If you don’t want him for whatever unproven reasons because you are just relying on hearsays, then I don’t want to hear anything from you whatever happens to our province again.
It’s your intelligent choice and you have to live with it.
I don’t know this guy (Joel Bersamina) but I think he is the ONLY choice we got….
