Bangued, Abra – Religious groups, the Abrenian Voice for Peace, along with the police, military, Commission on Elections (Comelec), Abra youth sector and other stakeholders the other day joined forces in the Unity Walk and candle lighting rites for secure and fair 2016 elections.
More gun violence. Two separate incidents were recorded in the last two weeks. According to the police, motives are still being investigated.
Just a few years back, the Bersamin and Luna camps parted ways and became bitter political enemies. They fought during the 2013 elections and there were even legal battles between them.
