Bangued, Abra – The driver of Abra Electric Cooperative (ABRECO) GM was shot in Barangay Oaig Daya, Candon City.
The victim was identified as Joel dela Cruz, 37, married, a resident of Patucannay, Tayum. Dela Cruz is the driver of ABRECO GM Loreto Seares, Jr.
According to reports, the gunman, wearing a rain coat, approach the victim and shot him twice at the back, while the victim is waiting for the ABRECO service car being fixed.
The victim survived the attack and he is now being treated at a local hospital. Authorities are still investigating the incident.
