Just a few years back, the Bersamin and Luna camps parted ways and became bitter political enemies. They fought during the 2013 elections and there were even legal battles between them.
That seems to have changed as the Lunas were spotted during the Birthday Celebration of Gov. Takit Bersamin (Happy Birthday Sir!) yesterday at Camp Juan Villamor.
In attendance were Ex-Mayor Anita Seares, Ex-Cong. Cecy Luna, Mayor Jendrix Luna and a multitude of Lagayan supporters.
During the event, according to our source, Mayor Luna declared his family’s all out support to the Bersamins and stop short from mentioning the Congressional and Vice Gobernatorial candidates of the Bersamin’s “Team Love Abra”. This of course is a given considering his mother Cecy and his brother Ryan are running as Congresswoman and Vice Governor respectively.

Conspicuously absent were Team Love Abra’s Congressional bet Mayor Marco Bautista and Vice Gov. bet Rolando Somera. This despite their names listed as speakers in the program of event. Our source also noted that both candidates were not present during the Kawayan Festival Celebration last week.
So what does this means if true? Did Buatista and Somera realized they’ve been played and stayed out of sight? Why would the Bersamins pull this kind of stunt? What would the die-hard Bersamin supporters would say about this renewed “Love Team”?
Frankly speaking, I am no longer surprised…It’s politics and politicians do what they can to ensure survival.
It does leaves you with a bad taste in the mouth for lack of respect and Integrity amongst them.

In the middle of the program, Mayor Jendricks and his mom Cecy Luna arrived. Mayor Jendricks gave a speech as a Mayor and Cecy Luna greeted the Governor. The Bersamins are educated and well mannered. They are not going to push people away just like that. To assume that they are now in good terms and friends IS A BIG LIE.
