nagpintas ket koman t abra no all year round ket kastoy karagsak ti kakaillian tayo…..but on one note, i cant help but to pity my beloved province since we are again threaten for another power disconnection this april……kaanon to met aya t pinagragragsak dagiti pada nga member consumers t abeco nga awanen t didigra nga pannaka puted man t kuryente t abran?

  - read my post i did not say that no students will be performing street dancing n parade. What i posted here is they are exploited by corrupt dep ed officials n politicisns. liquidation of expenses fir these student is very tempting for those greedy politicians llike our athlete in the recent caraa wherein abra is next to last. there was a huge fund for the athletes but pordios santo d lng kalsada ang substandard pati uniform n meals nila substandard din

    - Haan nga imahinasyon motomoto ta makita results pa lng nawala ang pondo. Sa mga participants ng street dancing during their practice wala man lng ako nakitang bottled water for the kids despite of the heat n perspiration they have n worst walang medics nakastandby during their performance.

- Read my post arikato i remain to be one of critics of koliglig everytime dereliction of his duty occurred. Im eric shawn the most hated in this blog but no regret as long little by little i can fill the information gap that most bloggers in this web are experiencing like tagamssid who is not aware the existence of lingtan boys of koliglig where street killing were almost perpetrsted by them next to demonic boys.

    - Oke oke im sure u had googled the meaning of information gap. But i tell u that is not the real meaning. Bridging the information gap, abrenians shld be empowered by being englighted to achieve the real democracy by knowing the historical truth of political leaders like koliglig.

no im not because it is the truth and nothing more but the truth im telling here. those bloggers tend to be bright by posting good words of english are suffering information gap because their source of info is tsismis or news that they heard and read without realizing the author or source of the news are being fed by PR of politicians.

These young people of Abra has a beautiful heart and purity of the spirits. The spirituality of the Abrenians are way ahead from other Cordillerans. On the other hand, the devil tries hard to destroys such spirituality through evil politics. People of the Churches unite, let us continue to wage our battle to free Abra from the devil manifested in bad governance marred with corruption and violence. The unseen power lies in the churches. Let us unleash that enormous power thru the Words, prayers, sacrificial offerings and selfless service to the people.

- That’s a great call NAELING – our only hope to conquer poverty partly caused by evil minded leaders of our dear province. We have all the opportunity to have a better life in Abra but sad to accept most of our leaders don’t deserved to be there. Because of money n power, greed in its ugliest head, poverty n violence seem to have no end. Yes, let us unite and trust more in the power of God through prayers than trusting solely on ourselves.

  - Pagayam Tagamasid, I am a firm believer in Religion as the way for men to find its way back to God. Political dynasties come and go but religions remains. Only if men of the churches understand the real meaning of faith that is to Love God and fellow men in the truest sense and not on any doctrinal pedagogy that we may realize that powers to move mountain or to turn evils upside down. Let that Goliath in our time continuous its unbelieving stance, mocking the Truth of God, that the David in our midst be awaken. BANGUED, Abra, May 8(PIA) — The Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) has declared an all-out war on drugs in the province during its regular quarterly meeting last week.

The PPOC is concerned with the problem of illegal drugs as it is identified as one of the contributory factors in the commission of crimes especially the increasing robbery incidents in this capital town and in some municipalities.

In response to this emerging problem, the PPOC chaired by Governor Eustaquio P. Bersamin strongly supports the programs initiated by the Abra Youth Organizations Society (AYOS) and the Medical Practitioners and Guidance Counselors in Abra.

The AYOS headed by Darren Carino is undertaking the Search for the Most Accomplished Anti-Drug Abuse Councils among the various schools in the province. These school-based anti-drug abuse councils were organized to help schools administrators and faculty to promote drug-free school campuses to save the youth and students.

Cash prizes for the winning anti-drug abuse councils will be given by the PPOC.

The medical practitioners and guidance counselors for their part, provide tele-counseling to drug users and pushers and even their families to help them in their rehabilitation and become productive and responsible citizens again. The said project on the substance abuse prevention campaign was launched during the 2014 Abra Week for Peace celebration. The project is spearheaded by Dr. Leona G. Berona and Miss Carmelita Bersalona. The anti-drug campaign aims to address youth criminality in the province.

The Governor likewise approved the funding allocation for the counseling center located at the old Abra Provincial Hospital.

There are 26 drug-affected barangays, 44 drug personalities who are being watched-out, and 5 wanted persons with drug related cases in the province, according Assistant Regional Director Gil Cesario P. Castro of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Cordillera.

While drug problem in Abra is not as glaring as that in other provinces and cities, the issue cannot be taken for granted because of the threat of narco-politics and drug mule because of the continuing drug recruitment which are being carried out on a big scale business, Castro said. It’s unfortunate that a few of the infra constructed under the leadership of our governor seemed to be substandard. Let us accept the fact that nobody is perfect. It is either caused by materials, specially sand, used ( based on my personal experience) or blatant greed of contractor. What is commendable is that a lot of projects were made to uplift the miserable lives of Abrenians during gov Takit term. Pilar to Pidigan road used to be 1 1/2 to 2 hrs travel with dusty- bumpy road. In 2 years term of gov Takit, it takes only 30 minutes comfortable ride! The provincial hospital used to be overcrowded but with the annex which could accommodate extra patients and with better equipments, better medical services is now provided. Most hinterland municipalities used to have few meters or no concret roads, now a lot are made as one of the countless way of concern of the governor to uplift the miserable lives of his constituents. Among the leaders of Abra, previous n current, who among them have done with equal accomplishments? Yes, loan was made, but a lot of beneficial projects were made.
It’s also true that Abra has not graduated as 1 of the poorest provinces of the country. Similarly, the Philippines with all of the gains achieved under Pinoy Tuwid na Daan appears to have not move forward. We don’t expect changes in overnight time! How many have gone to Paranaque? Have you seen the countless big buildings under constructions? Have you heard foreign capitalits pouring their money in the Philippines. These are healthy signs that soon we will be enjoying a healthy n comfortable life.
Let us do our part by supporting good governance. Help stop vote buying, educate ourselves, be active in peace campaign, let your voice/ suggestion be heard by our leaders, instead of useless criticism, and above all hear the call of pa gayam Naeling for prayers.
