PNP-PAGS Encounter in Lagayan, Abra

La Trinidad, Benguet (October 23, 2013) — An assassin who accordingly is a member of the dreaded Vicent Guzman “private armed group” was killed by policemen in a shoot-out in remote Pang-ot and Collago, both in Lagayan town in Abra.
Ludring Silbaw, a dreaded assassin, was killed when policemen fought at least 12 fully armed members of the group armed with M16 rifles and M203 grenade launchers Tuesday, said Abra police director Sr. Supt. Benjamin Lusad.
Lusad said Abra policemen are still running after the group in their hide-outs earlier identified by authorities.
The other day, a barangay tanod was killed in Lagayan town prompting policemen to be on their toes against the escalation of hostilities there..***Artemio A. Dumlao***

they had branded the victim as an assasin,yet no known case has been filed against him,i am not telling that the PNP lied about the supposed encounter with a 12 man team , armed with armalites and grenade launchers and NO CASUALTIES or even WOUNDED on their side? thats a MIRACLE ! has anyone out there,actually seen and expirienced the havoc and destruction of shrapnels not mentioning the demoralizing blast of explosion of an M203s? or M 79s?plus 12 M 16s spewing full metal jackets ! Posted by eric shawn | October 23, 2013, 10:05 pmPAGS my friend, i agree with your viewpoint and observations BUT you had assumed that those PAGS are well trained and combat tested and adept at handling those high powered firearms in an encounter like you! wont you agree that wearing a BDU gives a psychological boost to the one wearing it ? thus, negating the advantage of the PAGS of their familiarity of terrain? the only wrongdoing of the PNP in this OPERATION is that SOME are NOT WEARING uniform ( the video shows 2 in civvies but carrying FAs ) which is a BIG NO NO. psssst pags,anong class ka buddy?
Posted by KARASAKAS | October 23, 2013, 10:21 pmi dont think the pnp are true with their allegations. first was the claim that they were there to serve warrants of arrests, but why are they in full battle gear when procedure dictates that when serving warrants they should be wearing their light blue uniforms marked at the back with big letters PULIS. second, the pnp alledged that they were fired upon by those they were serving the warrants, if indeed the one who died is an assasin why is it that not even a single member of the pnp were wounded? are the pnp personnel immuned of M16 bullets and grenade shrapnels. ang bobo naman na mga PAGS na wala man lang matamaan. third, why is it that only one died if it was a legitimate encounter. i think that the pnp is being used here. many residents of that barrio in lagayan witnessed what happened. a resident of that barrio filed a complaint against the COP of lagayan because he searched a house without proper documents. you could find this in the blotter of lagayan PNP. galong(COP) was to my knowledge declared persona non grata in lagayan that is why i think he is exacting revenge on the mayor following orders from the enemies of the mayor. the one who died was a barangay tanod.

They worked for the arrest of the elder balao-as kudos they did their job po1 dalipog even sacrificed hs own dear life but what the pnd did? They did nt even recover hs dead body nor no soco team was directed to proces the crime scene in short there was no thoroug investgation cnducted. The raiding team was comended and the cop was transferd to hs homeprovince but how abt po1 dalipog? Is justice serve by the pnp he was workin?

I got a feeling that there might be real showdowns that take place in the days to come where we will be in the eyes of the world again. The PNP might have a good plan for ultimate peace and order in the province but still they came short as usual. If they are really sincere, they should have launched their operation at once and at the same time to the other PAGS operating in other places, regardless who their handlers or bossings are. In this way, no one could say that they are playing favoritism due to the mighty power of money or mere puppets with less average IQ like me. I hope I’m wrong that this sole victim group will regroup and help the PNP in finishing the job which the majority poor Abtrenians want but and could be labelled as retaliation. In this case, they will be branded as heroes, dead or alive, for at least their lives were used in a worthy cause by erasing themselves on the face of the earth where peace and prosperity finally reign. But if I were you Pags, I’ll better run as fast as I can and try to hide somewhere. Pray that the priests or preachers will coddle you if you are now really sincere to change. If not, I must warn you that you can hide but you cannot run and run throughout your life. Someday, somehow your sins against society will haunt and hunt you wherever you are especially during your sleeping time. I am not bluffing nor lying but just trying to help you decide what’s best for the rest of your life. HE loves you no matter who you are or what you did to your life!
