Abra guv asks PNP to purge criminal breeding grounds

by Harley F. Palangchao

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The Cordillera police were urged not only to eliminate criminals but to also destroy the environment that creates the criminals.

Abra Gov. Eustaquio Bersamin made the challenge when he served as guest of honor and speaker of the 112th Police Service Anniversary, which was highlighted with the awarding of outstanding police officers and police units in the region.

“We believe the fight against criminality is not only confined on catching the criminals but also in removing or destroying the environment that creates the criminals,” Bersamin said.

The governor cited the peacekeeping efforts of the Cordillera police led by Regional Director Benjamin Magalong especially the sustained campaign to bring back the culture of peace in conflict-stricken Abra.

He also commended this year’s individual and unit awardees led by Abra Police Provincial Director Benjamin Lusad for working tirelessly to ensure the continued safety and protection of the people and visitors in the region.

Those who were conferred the individual Achievement Award were Lusad for outstanding performance in police administration and Supt. Lambert Suerte of the Benguet Police Provincial Safety Company for operations.

The other individual awardees were C/Insp. Angelito Dang-li Jr. of the Abra PPO, Police Officers 2 Melchor Octaviano and Arnel Batac, Senior PO3 Dino Sagayao, and non-uniformed personnels Shan-ry Roberts and Elizabeth Cedo.

The unit awardees were Benguet PPO for the arrest of wanted persons and for disaster preparation and rescue and relief operations and Apayao PPO for posting the highest crime solution efficiency.

Special awards were also given to the following units: Abra PPO, Regional Public Safety Battalion, Regional Intelligence Division, Regional Intelligence Unit-14, Regional Special Operation Task Group-Abra, Special Action Force, and 503rd Brigade, Philippine Army for their contribution to the neutralization of private armed groups and in the accounting of firearms during the past national election.

Other civilians were also recognized for their invaluable support to the regional police command.

  1. Attention PNP. You can start at the capitolyo and munisipyo. That’s the number one breeding ground of criminals. Stealing money from the people is a criminal offense.

Awan sardeng na daytoy isu nga ti kapipintasan nga aramiden is just to forgive them silently in your heart. If you are a real christian, you should have done this long time ago where you are supposedly experiencing now a peace of mind. But don’t worry, just think that those who are hurting your feelings are not real Christians either. And since they are not, WHY DO YOU CARE? Just take them out from your mind for they are also a piece of shit that always in trouble if not trouble chases them. Why do you want to take revenge and what do you get in return? Temporary relief but when it subsides the hatred will come back and stresses you again? Good people will not be impressed because it just shows that you are unchristian too? Real Christians are nice people, humble not arrogant, forgiving not despising, helpful with big understanding hearts like you. So, what kind of people is better to associate with or whom you are going to waste your love or hatred? You rather focus your mind with the good KTL than those who doesn’t deserve your attention because it’s so obvious that they are possessed with devilish attitudes. And the secret to have a complete peace of mind is just to love and forgive your enemies silently from the bottom of your heart….and let’s see what happens next, okay?

        • Jess C. Scott, a psychological writer said, “Hypocrites get offended by the truth.” Also, legendary and renowned Sigmund Freud said “He does not believe that does not live according to his belief.” HYPOCRITES like you hate the TRUTH.

Danglas Mavericks asked “aggapuan na aya dagita killer?”

It is a public knowledge in Abra that killers are around in our province. Like lines in your palms. It is very stupid to deny the truth that all the mayors in Abra do have “biradors” in their camp. Lokohin ninyo ang lelong nyo.

DALAYPO, BUWAKS and KAPID, you are all HYPHOCRITES and STUPID not knowing that killers are among us. Are you from Abra? Just asking because you seem to live in Batanes.

I am only telling the truth. Not only in our place that these kind of people can be found but also in every town of this province. The poor masses know it. There are lots of puppet , politically maneuvered killers here in Abra. Why is it that almost 20% of political killings in the Philippines are from Abra? Kasi nga nandito ang maraming killers.

I am not proud and very much disappointed of this kind of security in Abra, but I have to face the question straight because I’m not HYPOCRITES like you.

Pilosopo even disclosed in this thread that Barangay Lingtan is one of the breeding grounds of young killers.

Common, what do you want me to answer you? Abra is the nicest and safest place in the Philippines? Hypocrites will tell you yes.
Political leaders in Abra, upon reading this comment, it’s your turn to make me a liar.

Posted by BUNGAW TI MALAPAAO | September 2, 2013, 6:56 pm
        • Hypocrites? You were right, Abrenian killers are found all over the place but it isn’t also a hypocrisy and cowardliness to use a place as your pseudonym when you are not a resident in that place? Why, were you not so brave enough to use your own birthplace and see how far the truthfulness of your heart be tested?
That’s right, challenge the political leaders all over Abra to prove you’re a liar/hypocrite but please never used again our birthplace as your Alias, would you, please………?
It hurts…….and you may also feel the same if they bombarded your birthplace with embarrassing comments although some of them maybe were right But it’s also a human nature to defend yourself with both good and hurting words where only the mind knows when it ends. And in order to end it now or to beg you not to escalate further our embarrassment, if you will?, please let me swallow now my humble pride in asking your forgiveness if ever you were offended.

  4. “destroying the environment that creates the criminals”
Wow, what a heart-breaking or mind-boggling challenge by the Guv to the men and women in uniform!
Do you know who and where they are and what kind of environment that created and continually creating them?
Let’s take a closer look with a typical kind of family that we could find anywhere in the province. A poor family that just relying on his small piece of agricultural land for tearful survival. They produced more than one child because they truly love each other where sex was so exciting and satisfying. They heard that some government projects were launched by the honest and good President thru PDAF/IRA/7171 funds, so confident that the future of their children is bright which their existence in this world or being an Abrenian was not a disappointment at all.
Time had passed but there was no project yet or assistance for higher education for their children because they were completely neglected by their elected government officials. So, what kind of environment now where they are thriving? A hostile one? Was their fault and what did they do wrong that the local government created this kind of environment for them? How could they apply now for a decent job here and abroad if the government denied them enough education and where do they get that money in order to get a job with their fake qualifications? So what’s their best option now in order to continue to eat even only salt as their viand and have a little roof on their head during summer or rainy days?
My guess was maybe good as yours that some of them became bodyguards/criminals, prostitutes, and abused and overused servants by the snake sons and daughters of the devil who tirelessly whispering to their ears that prostituted wealth or money stolen from the government is good.

Posted by Quiaba Beach | August 29, 2013, 5:58 pm
    • And since stealing people’s money is good, the more they become addicted to it while others or the helpless remain as victims of poverty, injustices, and abusive treatment because of illiteracy. They are vulnerable to a hostile environment where some already become a paid-accomplice or torturers of their kind. My question is, who created this kind of environment or why we have it and why bothers now? Anyway, have you ever observed that most if not all victims of political killings were in their circles motivated by power and greed? It’s a dog eat dog scenario or environment that they themselves created it.

  9. His Excellency, President Aquino: The world felt now the weight of your burning desire in stamping out corruption in all level which ensures the victory of your Chicken in the next coming Presidential election. But your iron hands should not stop in the national level alone but more in the provincial level where we really felt miserable life because of this corruption. True that you have three more years left but please reserve at least one year to fumigate these pests or crushing their hardened balls and clitoris which are equally and clearly considered as stumbling blocks of your advocacy. Issue an HDO now to prevent them from hiding in China or anywhere else for it seems that they could move faster than the lawmakers who are still planning the best strategies in evading the thundering ticking bomb of Napoles.

Irugem ta bagim kas AMA ket sigurado nga tuladen ti annakmo. Kapintasan nga security ket ti panagaramid ti nasasayaat, pudno nga panagservi, panangayat ti pada nga tao ken kangrunaan panagtalek ti Dios. Trust in these words ” if God is with me who can be against me”, trust in God not in anybody else nor yourself, because you only live by your breathe.

Kangrunaan nga dalusam kas AMA, paneknekam nga saan nga pudno dagiti pammabasol dagiti adu nga kuarta ti mangdaddael ti kinataom. 3 years more and you will be gone. Reform, stop being hypocrite ,’serve and not to be served’ or else you will leave an abominable legacy to your family to your disgrace. Use your tremendous share of RA7171 and other funds to uplift the miserable plight of your constituents, especially in the hinterlands, the breeding ground of rebels because of extreme poverty and blatant neglect. Be honest to yourself. Remember,’love begets love’. NO ANIA TI IMULAM, ISU’t APITEM!
