LA Trinidad, Benguet – A notorious gun-for-hire in Abra, wanted for several murders in Bangued, the province’s capital town, was nabbed with his wife Thursday morning.
Senior Superintendent Benjamin Lusad, Abra provincial police director, said Jonathan Cordova Bosque, 32 of from Barangay Baac, Langiden town was arrested with his wife Prescilla Algame Bosque, 31, an OFW.
Bosque was stopped by policemen at a checkpoint in Bangued. Seized from him were a .45 Colt Mark IV pistol with serial number 384497 and magazine with seven live bullets.
Lusad said policemen also seized from the suspect a sachet of shabu and another sachet of marijuana, which wre found in his motorcycle’s compartment.
Bosque is the Number 2 drug personality in Abra province.
Charges of illegal possession of firearms and drug possession are benig readied against the suspect.

Like he said, Bosque is not the only one involved in this monkey business because he can’t do alone by himself. Maybe there are big untouchable names or politicians that our authorities need to pulverize first. Better yet, there should be a serious coordination between the COA and the police authorities to respect or obey what our current President vowed to accomplish. Forgive me if I am wrong, but I think corruption plays an important role for the success of this business for where they could possibly get their capital, back-up protection, or other resources?
