Back to school and the burden of keeping up with the cost of education is getting heavier. With all the money flowing around (PDAF, IRA, RA 7171), the government should consider making high school education totally free.

Divine Word College of Bangued in Abra and St. Theresita’s School in Tabuk City, Kalinga also expressed their intent to increase school fees but their applications were returned due to incomplete documents.
However, they can still submit and complete their requirements for their proposed increased within week.
Majority of schools that increased fees this year are all located in Abra. These are Catholic High School of Pilar, Fr. Arnoldus High School, Heart of Mary High School, Holy Ghost School, Holy Spirit Academy, Little Flower HS, Luba-Tubo Catholic HS, Our Lady of Fatima HS, Our Lady of Guadalupe HS, Queen of Peace-Canan, Queen of Peace-LaPaz, St. John HS, St. Mary HS, St. Paul HS and Sta. Theresita’s HS.

Now, kung hindi na nila kaya ang tuition fee sino kaya ang managot sa itaas balang araw, lalo na kung ang mga batang ito ay maging lialibilities/problema ng lipunan?
Please beg Rome to be more compassionate to the under-privileged who are already suffering unending poverty and yet very desirous to enroll in a catholic school in a pursuit of not only quality education but to discover more God’s purpose in our life.
Thank you for fighting for us, may God bless your hearts, and He may still forgive those merciless higher catholic officials.
