Bangued, Abra. Although he has not been officialy declared by COMELEC, all indications points to the fact that Governor Takit has been re-elected for the third time. Bersamin trounced rival former Congresswoman Cecile Luna by a huge margin.
Based on unofficial count, Gov. Bersamin has been building an insurmountable lead (more than 40,000 as of 5:04AM May14) since the start of the count. The last words from Provincial Board of Canvassers (PCOB), the official body by the COMELEC, the governor leads on all 10 municipalities that was so far been counted.
In his FaceBook page, Gov. Bersamin has this to say:
