Bangued, Abra. Abra Electric Cooperative (ABRECO) filed a complaint yesterday against current Mayor JR Seares of Dolores, Abra together with 4 defendants for allegely violating Republic Act 7832, otherwise known as the act of penalizing the pilferage and theft of electricity.
In a message (with attached of a copy of the complaint sheet) sent to abrenian.com, ABRECO said the accused conspired willfuly and unlawfully tapped electric service connection to the Pepsi Cola Depot in Dolores without prior consent from ABRECO.
The depot is owned by the Mayor and the connection is under the name of one of the accused.
Mayor Seares was recently chosen as Most Outstanding Mayor for the Year 2013 by the Superbrand Marketing International, Inc. (SMI). He is running against David Guzman, the Board Chairman of ABRECO for the Mayoralty post. (abrenian.com)

Whatever case they may file against the good mayor, they will never prosper and succeed. Everyone knows that this is purely politically motivated. They are accusing him without any concrete evidence. No worries mayor, we are at your side always… We will show you our PROOF tomorrow..
