MANILA, Philippines – Nearly half of all gun ban violations in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) were recorded in Abra, police said.
Since the gun ban began January 13, 57 gun ban violation cases have been recorded by the Cordillera Police Regional Command.
Out of these, 25 were reported in Abra, while Baguio City and Apayao have 8 each. Four cases each came from Benguet, Ifugao, and Kalinga, while Mountain Province has two.
A total of 60 firearms and 125 pieces of explosives – mostly dynamite – have been confiscated, police said.
Abra also holds the most number of firearms documented and sealed by police, to check that these won’t be used during the election season. Out of the 415 sealed across the region, 169 came from Abra.
Abra is one of 15 provinces tagged by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) as election hot spots. – Rappler.com

The leaders should do good so the constituents will do good too because they are looking high on you Sirs and ma’ams
