Warrant of arrest issued against Mayor Luna of Bangued

Bangued, Abra. Members of the Abra PNP headed by the provincial Director Benjamin Lusad served the warrant of arrest for criminal case No. 2009-011 for “murder aggrevated with the use of unlicenced firearm” against Bangued, Abra Mayor Ryan Seares Luna last night.

The warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Jaime L. Dojillo jr. of RTC of Abra Branch 2 on April 29. 2013.

According to the PNP reports when the warrant of arrest was served by members of PNP at the mayor’s residence in in Dangdangla, Bangued, the accused Ryan Seares Luna was not present.

The said murder case is in relation with brutal killing of Mrs Brenda Crisologo wife of Tineg mayor Edwind Crisologo.

Mayor Luna on his statement sent to abrenian.com before the warrant of arrest came out, said that the timing of the DOJ order to re-open the case which happened in 2009 is clearly politically motivated.

      • The sudden disappearance of Mayor Ryan is the most LUNAtic act by any person who claims he is innocent of the crime leveled against him and that the said DOJ Order is “clearly politically motivated”. Someone has said that “Flight is tantamount to Guilt” as he is now considered a Fugitive of the Law!

    • warrant of arrest can be served at any time of the day or night. anyways, according to the report, it was served at past 8PM last night.

      If mayor ryan wants to question the process of issuance of the warrant, he should gave himself up then argue his case.

  7. Is this a beginning??? …… I don’t think so. Am just praying all the unsolved cases in Abra will see light. I would encourage all pipi and bingi to come out. Ang mga anak ni Dominic are rejoicing as I heard from sources are shouting KARMA in their Facebook ….. sana di kayo makarma din, ammo dagiti taga Bangued no asinno nagpapatay dagiti latest nga natay gappu ti summary execution.

    I am praying all the cases perpuated by this politicos would come out, so that all this corrupt politicos would go to jail and wage a war inside the prison ala gang war inside the prison….. that’s a best place para sila sila lang nagpapatayan saan nga mairaman dagiti babassit nga kailian tayo.

It may be safe to conclude that the real reason why the the resolution came out and subsequent issuance of the warrant of arrest against Mayor Luna is a strategy employed by his rival to win at all cost. We all want the wheel of justice to turn exceedingly fine, whoever crafted the strategy the people of Bangued is definitely at lost, losing a lesser evil.

  22. as far as i could remember, brenda was shot inside a school in bangued and recuperated in a hospital in quezon city where she died of heart failure.

I hope that the people of Bangued will be clever enough to choose.i hope that they will not choose somebody who makes money at all cost.even the fight of manny pacquiao pinatulan na nga pinagkukwartaan!!!How about the incident last election with the involvement of Dominic Valera it is even clearer than this case they are accusing to mayor Ryan Luna.

  25. as between the two candidates who has the heart to serve? Napadas tayon isuda nga pareho, now it is our time to choose. In my own opinion, let Mayor Ryan in win the election, however if the evidence of his guilt is strong and he will be convicted as charged at least the winning vice mayor will succeed basta saan laeng nga ni Demonic to mangabac your prediction is the same as mine no ni demonic ti mangabac…

As what I’ve heard nabayadan Kano ti 3 million Tay judge nga nag pirma with the order if injustice Lucas Bulsaamin , maganasan kayon nga agtugawen but don’t worry it will be Allan Seares who will be taking the helms if the municipality of Bangued who is the second cousin of Ryan. Natakneng nga ubing nga ti la makunak ket aramid Amin ti gropo nga awan Maaramid da but we will be on your side Ryan ammo Amin ti Tao nga awan basol mo dita wait until they reverse the warrant. A warrant if arrest cannot be issued at 11 pm just to let you know .

  31. Accused is considered innocent until proven guilty. I believe it is wise to face the law and get the best criminal lawyer as done by ex. I also believe this untimely incident helps you instead of putting you down. You perform better and peace improved during your term. Most people appreciate this than the money circulating around.

    • Yes, my friend. The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. But flight is an indication of guilt. The guilty flee even when no one is pursuing but the innocent is as brave as a lion. No one can escape the Karmic Law – the law of compensation. Whatever you sow, you shall reap. Sow the wind and you will reap the whirlwind. The day of judgment has come. It is time to face the music. Justice has no special time and place of its own. Its time is always now. The families of the victims have waited long enough. Politics does not give one the right to take anybody’s life. Politics will never be an excuse to commit murder. We hope this is just the beginning and all other politicians guilty of murder and plunder will be brought before the bar of justice. Only then can the people of Abra live in peace.
