The 2013 elections is 22 days away. We have been flooded with news, gossips, hearsays about the growing number of vote buying and violence.
The center of some activities are in Tayum, Abra where Joey Brillantes is challenging incumbent Mayor Glen Eduarte.
Here’s some more developments in Tayum:
News surfaces that the house of a certain Akio Escalante was sprayed with bullets. The attackers were reported to be a known bodyguard of JB Bernos, the Mayor of La Paz and a known supporter of Mayor Glen Eduarte. Escalante survived the attack but one of the gunmen was wounded and died due to stray bullet from their own guns (source: facebook groups).
