  18. This the classic example of epal. What caught my attension the other day was the 4 tarpaulins in ubbog lican with the face of joy bernos. It reads ” sorry for the inconvenience, we are making better roads. What? Does joy bernos know the meaning of the word “better”? Or did she mean “rougher” hahaha. If I were the congresswoman I would not put my face in these projects. Because it shames my name. Pero epal nga si joy bernos. Another tarp somewhere in pidigan is even longer than the projects itself. Mas mahaba pa yong tarp kesa sa na semento. Bwahaha.
    The congresswoman should reprimand the contractors. But how vould she if it is her father demonic who implements these or his brother demonio who construct.
    Dpwh has become a family construction firm of the valeras and bernoses.
    What a shame. But I don’t think these families know the meaning of the word shame. Better nga di alam shame pa kaya. Hahaha

    • Ensemada. By the way you comment, I know you are one of the avid fans of joy bernos. Let’s put it this way. We are not talking about political dynasty here so you are out of line. But for the sake of argument let me shed light on you. You mentioned about the lunas, what the hell is wrong with them running? I am not a politician but I know the ins and outs of olitics. Let us compare the valera bernos clan with the lunas. Joy bernos is running for congress versus hans luna. Dominic valera is running for mayor against ryan luna. Cesy luna is running for governor. Jansenn valera is running for mayor of oidigan, his husband domino is running for sb also in pidigan. Gendrix luna is running for mayor of lagayan, with his wife joy as his running mate. Jb bernos and his wige are the tandem in la oaz. Ester bernos is running for mayor of danglas and cromwel luna is running for mayor of tineg. Now tell me who wants all the positions. Pareho lang so you have no right to just attack the lunas.
      Now let us compare the lunas against the valera bernos clan with regards to accomplishment. Cesy lunas accomplishments compared to joy bernos is non comparabke. The calaba bridge is one testament that cesy luna is better than remove and replace joy bernos.
      Compare dominic valera and ryan luna. Who among these two is better? Dominic valera accomplished nothing during his term and look at what ryan has done. Add to that approachability. During the time of dominic you have to pass thru several people before you called talk to him but with ryan you could talk to him anywhere you meet him.
      Now tell me ensemada who is better between this clans? If you tell me its the valera bernoses, then either you are employee of the valera bernoses or you are just blind to the realities.

    The PDAF, a pork barrel that funds pet projects of members of Congress, is a known source of kickbacks for lawmakers. Yearly, a senator is entitled to P200 million in PDAF and a member of the House of Representatives, P70 million.”

    Would the Candidates for Congress be sporting enough to provide us their plans on how they intend to disburse Php70M per year during their 3-year term from their scheduled PDAF or Pork Barrel??

    The current representative of Abra obviously received Php210M from her first term. What accomplishments can she show for from that amount?? Would she be kind enough to share us a disbursement itemization? Of course, she may include her US shopping spree trips to Rodeo Drive in LA and the malls in New York & New Jersey!

    Our “leaders” need to be accountable and this would apply to all incumbent elected officials who receive their IRA as well other source of income for the province of Abra! Pictures in tarpaulins (EPAL?) hanging over an ongoing government project just won’t cut it!! Don’t you agree?

    • There’s only one interpretation of this but of course they have to defend themselves thru different kinds of misguiding media testimonies. No matter what, it’s their bad karma that no one has the power to escape. It hunts and haunts you wherever you go, no matter how long it takes until you finally suffer the consequence of your wrongdoings. But whatever they say, they could not convince me that the recipients of their “pork barrel funds” were not really bogus. Are they stupid enough to just signed papers without investigating first the genuineness of all the supporting documents or the existence of the NGOs as the recipients? Sen. M. Defensor was right for seeking FBI investigation, the real experts in this field, not “Senate Investigation” for it’s another waste of government money. My only question to the COA is, why they are very selective in exposing anomalies or corruption or confining their bait in catching the “Big Fish” while they have enough accountants/workers to cover even the smallest barangay who is also suspected of committing such crime. Why? don’t we deserve being the silent majority voters to be freed also from corruptible local officials or politicians that we may also experience or taste the fruits of the President’s advocacy towards “Matuwid na Daan”?

      • Some of these senatorial candidates and their handlers are just using Religion to impress the voters for their alleged righteousness and some religious sects want to be used because they supported their cause or of their donations without necessarily scrutinizing the true colors of these politicians. Well, it’s up to you brothers and sisters to analyze which of which suits your understanding but LOVING not HATING regardless is still our number one guide or command from Above in order to have a peaceful and satisfying life.

  28. If ms cute has only narrow projects without a Bill but big bilbil and Somera ay sumisira sa Pilar from rugs 20 yrs ago to become one of the riches man in Abra because RA 7171, then there’s is only one good choice, Hanz Luna.

    Atty, you are given good 3 yrs to prove your worth. Prove to be worthy as congressman by presenting Bills to uplift the miserable lives of abrenians,especially yr kadaraan in the hinterlands; amend the RA 7171 to help tobacco farmers and foremost, improve yr style of aggressiveness from ‘ imposing attitude’ to ‘convincing logic’ by reasons.

    Your brothers showed positive response to the call of peace of Abra, this is a BIG PLUS FACTOR FOR YOU. We expect for you to work hard to maintain this in your term. May God bless u!
