Seares, however, suspects “politics” in the disconnection. Seares said “it wasn’t true an electric jumper device was found in his house or whatsoever”
The mayor is running against Abreco board president David Guzman in Dolores town. Seares is the cousin Abreco general manager Loreto Seares Jr., but they are reportedly at odds with each other.
Seares added that even Abreco could not show him his alleged tampered meter.
“Mismo empleyado Abreco nangibagaga (It was told to me by an Abreco employee),” he said in Iluko dialect.
Abreco, however, said they found a soldered seal in the mayor’s electric meter, bolstering their suspicion of tampering.
An electric meter is sealed with an Energy Regulatory Commission seal.
“Once there is a showing that it is destroyed, it gives evidence that it is tampered,” an Abreco officer who begged off to be named explained.
Seares was reportedly hostile while Abreco linemen were attempting to inspect his meter

I suppose his cousin in Abreco knows about it ( tampering of meter) when they were still in good terms and that was 3 long years ago. I would like also to clarify that the priests who were responsible for the torture and death of Jesus Christ were not catholic priests. They were the same religious priests who imprisoned and crucified the twelve disciples including Peter who was our first appointed Pope in the catholic religion. They even tortured and imprisoned Paul, the first disciple who brought the Teachings of Jesus to the Gentiles. Gentiles are other nationalities/ethnicity groups including Ilokans and Tingguians that are not Jewish. There was no catholic, INK, Jehovah’s Witness and other modern religions yet at that time except Judaism, I think. These Jewish priests were in the country of Israel, descendants of the twelve tribes, chosen people of God, but the most disobedient people because despite of so many punishments/trials in their life, they still kept on sinning like our imaginary government servants.
That’s why maybe God decided to offer his only begotten Son as an ULTIMATE sacrifice for their and our present and future sins to prove that He really does love of what He had created. HE doesn’t want us to suffer any kind of hardships as a result of our inequities while we are still alive. More importantly, when we die, He doesn’t want the devil to devour our souls and throw us in the lake of fire where moaning and gnashing of teeth are extremely excruciating to bear or watch. And the only way to escape these is to be spiritually BORN AGAIN as what Jesus Christ advised to Nicodemus, the rich and righteous man but he refuses to give up his wealth for the poor as a test of his sincerity in seeking eternal life.
Please make note however, that I am not representing any kind of religion for I am still in the midst of searching the TRUTH. This is only my humble opinion based of what I have studied from the Bible and I must encourage everyone to do the same and have personal relationship with Christ for there were already some big favorable changes in my life since I started it.

Life in the philippines became more corrupt under pres. Gloria because churches seemed reluctant to see the rampant abuses. Churches itself have numerous problems include rape by priests n pastors. I pray that church leaders will not allow themselves get involved in dirty politics but focus on praying hard for God’s mercy, guidance n blessings ; support the innetiative of supt. Magalong who is making wonders for peace in Abra n the ‘Tuwid na daan” ni pinoy who changed the image of the Phil.

They are protected from “freedom of Speech” like an ordinary or private citizen that they could voice out their sentiments or inspiring pronouncements provided it will not endanger the security of the Nation and be very careful not to use libelous remarks or statements like personal character assassination or defamation, attacking religious beliefs, insulting origin of ethnicity, etc that may trigger libel lawsuit. If they play favoritism or bias with their opinion and backfires, that’s their own problem but at least they were able to express like anybody else what’s bothering in their mind especially during scary sleepless nights.
There is indeed a law that separates the government from the church which means the church could not make their laws and impose it without hesitation for acceptance by the government to become nationwide law. Their own or church laws were made by them without government intervention subjected however to the interest of national security. However, if they want to introduce a law seeking for nationwide interest, I think they could bribe or entice sponsorship from our lawmakers for the desired law to be debated on both sides of the aisle in order for it to become law and if it will not be vetoed by the President at a later date.
This is only my humble opinion and I stand corrected.

Posted by concern | February 22, 2013, 7:49 pmI do agree with you Rosing that they should not mix politics and religion except in a dire extra-ordinary circumstances like what happened before or during the martial law. But what they are doing now is a violation of one if not the most important commandments which to love your neighbor as you love yourself including your enemy or the one who hates you and whom you hate for Jesus Christ have had forgiven even those who persecuted and prosecuted him including Judas and the non-catholic priest leaders. In other words, forgive those who did wrong against you for yours will be forgiven also by the blood of Christ if you repent sincerely, ask forgiveness, and sin no more.
So my nagging question is, how could our religious leaders love someone and hate the other? They should not play favoritism or partisan in politics that may lead to the dispersal or division among their flock/members. They should have just recommended some guidelines of how to choose their Chickens not necessarily implying which one to vote or not to vote. This prompted me to air my humble opinion due to the on-going campaign against the proponents of the RH Bill dubbed as “Team Patay” while they are campaigning to win the “Team Buhay” senatorial candidates who voted against the said bill. Is this not a clear violation of “loving and forgiving one another” highest church order to all people in all parts of the globe? Please forgive me if I’m wrong though…..
