Guns n goons maybe limited, but gold will surely overflow to the joy of the majority poor unaware that these are taxes pocketed by most politicians. Thanks to supt. Magalong for “minimizing’ the 2 Gs. Money is d main power in this election. Abrenians, the next 3 yrs depends on our hands. If the highest bidders is your choice, mostly corrupt n greedy breeds, enjoy your miseries with their delight. Wake up, prove your worth for d sake of your kids!

Huh! nya ti pruweba yo nga right hand na ni Magalong?
ni madam x ti boss ni takit laeng.
We are here to campaign for our CHICKENS not on other matters that not were not being called for. Set aside first in the closet whatever bothering your mind and let us focus on just campaigning.
For the governorship: I like both candidates for they are not up to political killings although both were rumored to be corrupt or thieves like others. If I will choose the lady, there’s a possibility of violating the law against political dynasty that will be soon implemented for I predicted her sons to win in the congressional and mayoral slates. Besides, I think the current governor has an edge or more know-how when it comes to discharging the duties and functions that vested upon and harder to be coerced or manipulated by anybody, his wife included.
For the Congressional seat: I want to give a chance to the young lawyer who might be able to follow the footsteps of Sen Paredes and Pres. Garcia (whose parents were rumored to be former Abra citizens) if Heaven’s forbid, he will not tarnish his name from whatsoever kind of anomalies, corruption, or injustices. Also, if he could introduce a bill in the Congress that will be approved for the division of the province into two that gives chance for other real front leaders like Rimat and Pedro Abrenio to use their God-given gifts on good governance and quality leadership.
For Bangued Mayoralty seat? If corruption is not a crime and not associated to any of our candidates, I will vote for Valera because he allegedly acquired higher profession than his opponent although both were considered college graduates. But unfortunately, they are both famous with this publicity and left me no choice rather to revisit the current situation of “peace and order” in this center of commerce and education as my basis. It’s not a common secret that Mayor Luna has the blood of both the Ilokans and Tingguians that running through his heart and veins which led me to believe that he can neutralize (with of course with the cognizance and unending contribution of our law enforcements to peace and security) the proliferation of rampart juvenile delinquency among the Tingguians and Ilokans youth/students. Or, in another way, the prevention of harassment or intimidation that lead to physical injury against one another or worries and heart attack that might end the lives or sufferings of their loving parents.
So, that’s i-tin…..makaammo kayo met ditan…..
I second the motion of your line of logic concerned parent. Performance wise, the encumbent governor accomplished more particularly on area of peace campaign n infra. Of all the Lunas, I’m particularly interested of the young atty. Hans for 3 reasons: 1. For being professional 2. As professional, probably he could work for an amendment for RA 7171, reducing tobacco tax . The current tax too heavy for the farmers. 3. The other two candidates are polluted with irregularities especially Somera who have been gravely taking advantage of 7171 for 20 yrs!
Good points Tagamasid. What about outlawing “womanizing” that lead to the proliferation of illegitimate children that will be born out of wedlock? This is a blatant attack or insult against our christian values and one of the reasons why we are suffering the curse of poverty, corruption, and other injustices in our province. The different churches could not stop it, so maybe imposing hard penalties to those who found fathered an innocent minor child without legal proof of civil marriage will stop these lost souls from further sinning especially if ill-gotten wealth is involved in the formation of such illicit relationship. Yes, it’s their body and they can do whatever they want to it, but nobody will suffer the consequence of their lusts mistaken or disguised as love except their own child if allowed and be called secretly or openly as bastard. I know this suggested law will suffer a unified hard opposition from our law making bodies (Congress and Senate) like the anti-political dynasty law, FOI that allows the public to access public records for transparency and accountability purposes, because some of them were already guilty in mind and in heart of violating the said proposed laws. But, there’s nothing to be lost by just trying hard to make a big noise, especially if that NOISE is re-echoing sincerely and aggressively the sentiments of the christian community of Abra and other parts of the globe.
Allow me to remind also to the future Congressman that the Body he is about to enter is not a “project making body” but it’s a “law making body” where his constituents has a high regard of his capability to make laws beneficial for the downtrodden helpless Abrenians. If he could fight the temptation of corruption or stop it in all level of the different government agencies and stop killings in the province at the same time, there’s no doubt in my mind that he could even surpass the global admiration accorded to Sen. Paredes and Pres. Carlos P. Garcia.
My advanced congratulations for his success in searching the real mission that will define his existence in life!
Maybe it’s the only time or opportunity for you future Congressman to repaint the not so beautiful picture of your family’s reputation if you could really stop killings and corruption in the whole province. This will open a new window of hope for peace and prosperity to all Abrenians offering you “SKY IS THE LIMIT” to govern us with just lukewarm opposition from the thief envious politicians. Don’t waste the bravery of Bernadine Joson though, for she is the only Tingguian left with the blood of Gabriela Silang. And if you will not disappoint our expectations, the whole province will also be so proud of you because you indeed carrying the blood of one of our national heroes, Gen. Luna, Antonio. This brave hero was born in Ilokos Sur where your ancient clan probably first established after their long voyage or emigration from Malaysia or Indonesia according to the history gathered by the good and unselfish doctor, the honorable, Dr. Leo P. Tuazon. I hope his name will go down in history for our generations to admire not only in mind but by heart and soul.
You and Joson are our only remaining hope in making our province as the best place on the planet earth to live in for the rest of our lives, therefor, we are banking on you!
