4 members of the NPA killed

Lagangilang, Abra. Four members of the New People’s Army (NPA) died in an encounter in Barangay Cayapa. Three of the fatalities were women. According to the reports, the four were asking for food and recruting new members .

Classes at Cayapa National High School were suspended because residents were afraid to leave their homes. This is the first recorded encounter with the NPA this year.

    • saan nga agpayso nga adda natay nga NPA. Adda ti namissing nga 4 a civilian nga taga-Kayapa. Inhold ti militar isuda ti 3 nga aldaw manipud nagrugi ti labanan inggana idi feb 2.baka isu ti kuna da a natay nga NPA.

  2. Babbai nga NPA in the encounter? Who fired the first shot and initiated the violence? And what caused the firing of the first shot and the initiating of violence? Nakakamangha yata na sa ‘encounter’ ay tatlong mga babai ang namatay kung ang dahilan ng pagpunta nila sa lugar ay humingi ng pagkain at ‘mag-recruit’! Hindi siguro natin malalaman kung paano nagsimula ang labanan. Mga babai ‘yan. Hindi malayong sila’y pinag-interesan sa ibang bagay at lumaban!

Our government can kill NPA members but they can not kill or even jailed our corrupt government workers (politicians or not) who deceive the government thru manipulated project bid transactions that will lead to inferior standard construction or even complete non-existence at all of the alleged/imaginary projects. This is far worse than any form of criminality in the face of the land, but why our government thieves could still move freely around and do what they are doing? Did I hear double standard or hypocrisy in the highest degree?
