The election is 5 months from now. Since we release the complete list of Candidates, there has been numerous feedback about these candidates. There has been some animated discussion, some agreement and some contrasting ideas.
One thing for sure, these candidates may never engage in an open discussionin this site or other forum such as FaceBook groups (e.g. Abra Elections 2013 – i suggest you also check it out, it’s an open group). And why is that? My thinking is that, either they are uncomfortable with the medium of communication, too cautious, they don’t think it’s necessary (answering will not affect their chance to the voters), or just don’t care (I’ll resort to vote buying and intimidation anyway, who can stop me).
Nonetheless, as an Abrenian, I have the right to ask questions to all these candidates, who, if successful, will be in power to make or break Abra.
Anyway, Personally, there’s only one question I’m going to ask these candidates. I’m going to ask straight up “WHY WILL I VOTE FOR YOU?”.
I may never get an answer. But who knows…

Is the number of terms proportional to their performance? How many good projects have they implemented so far? Has Pilar progressed considerably? Has an official audit been performed in the municipality? How much money have they really spent for the people? Are the “ghost personnel” still in the payroll?

If I were in your shoes, GREAT WALL, I would have done the same thing – defending a man who, I confidently and firmly trust, is genuinely innocent. So that is exactly what I am doing now.
I mean no disrespect but I strongly believe you are in no place to mention and blame my father Chino right there, especially, considering you, yourself complained earlier that the previous comments were pieces of misinformation. I mean, isn’t it ironic that you were actually the one who said “patang ka lang nga patang” but ended up accusing a person without sufficient evidence?
The truth is, my father barely even know how to use a computer. Perhaps it’s because, after being out of politics for almost 3 years now, he has been keeping himself busy by making humble sales talk in our small business and feeding our pigs. That is why the idea of him commenting online seems so surreal, and ridiculous at the same time.
I need not create a good image of my father for the sake of politics. I know the difference between being a protective and proud daughter, and publicizing or as people would call it “early campaign”. In fact, I probably know the least about politics, I don’t even have any idea what on earth 7171 is, since both of my parents would rather encourage us to study instead of getting involved in the messy world of abra’s politics. I only took time to respond this time, not that I’m making this a big deal but as a daughter, I couldn’t bear the thought of people judging my father for what he is not and for what he did not do.
If there is one thing I know certain of, it is that settling up a misleading bad reputation for the undue benefit of others is a dirty philosophy. This goes not only on this forum but throughout the whole filipino practice of deceitful politics. So in contrary to creating a larger misunderstanding, let us all play a fair competition for the sake of families and people of Pilar.

I am sure they could not just ignore the magical power of this website having 97,000 daily hits of influencing abrenians’ mind on deciding why it is very critical for the province/municipality to vote them as our only remaining hope for genuine peace and progress . Besides, on the part of the TRAPOS, it’s their rarely chance to clear their good names, otherwise their detractors will continuously hanging them alive until every cell of their brain could no longer function due to unending insult or shame that slowly and effectively devouring their reputation. It doesn’t matter where they go or hide, still our divine justice if not their conscience hunts and haunts them until they will reach to the point where the only choice is repentance pleading for another last chance.
It’s now their best chance to authorize their spokesperson to engage civil conversation with us, thru this website, the one and only most accessible way, where abrenians around the world could hear their sides.

With this scenario, at least there will be a balance of power among these families (agbibinnantay da no adda agtakaw). Of course, this is just for now and hoping that we will have better choices in 2016.
