BANGUED, Abra, Sept. 17(PIA) — The new provincial election supervisor (PES) here encourages Abra residents to report to her or file formal complaints against erring employees of the Commission on Elections.
Atty. Mae Richelle B. Belmes wants to prove that she means business and wants to see all her staff go to their official workplaces and attend to the needs of their clients especially now that the 2013 mid-term election is fast approaching and the calendar of activities have already been laid down.
She urged the people to support their written complaints with documents so she can endorse them to Comelec en banc for resolution saying that she can not act on verbal complaints alone.
Belmes also announced that the Certificate of Candidacy (COC) is now posted in their website and interested individuals may now download, print and reproduce the forms in time for the filing of COCs on October 1 – 5, 2012.
But the availability of the forms needed by the candidates through online does not excuse Comelec employees from not reporting to their assigned municipalities, Belmes said.
Comelec officers and their staff have to be present in their field offices regularly in order to attend to the needs of the people who go to their offices for assistance especially now that voters have to rush to register or validate their registration.
Voters are required to appear at the Comelec for their biometrics to be captured, and this can only be made possible in the presence of the Comelec staff.
Belmes, during her oath taking last August 31, vowed not to allow shenanigans in the office like absenteeism.
She said she is determined to have a facelifting and cleansing of their ranks and to have more responsible civil servants if only to provide a more credible public service with the end goal of contributing to the peace situation in the province. (JDP/MTBB-PIA CAR, Abra)

whether it is jentrix or jendrick or whoever has the nerve and the courage to file such cases in court (siyempre may ebidensya kasi d puede ang biro lang)we should be thankful to such kind of individuals for they bring out such anomalies that we tend to ignore due to the reasons that we are afraid for our lives. these kind of cases are deterrents to future kleptocrats in the povince of abra

Comelec Boss and other authorities concerned like the military to mention a few; if you could really protect the sanctity of the ballots more importantly the lives of the voters, there’s no reason why the scared voters would not vote the righteous candidates that could bring CHANGE in our province. Hopefully no more excuses like twisting your arms or your arms being tied up for these were just proven cowardliness to do the right thing but braveness to accept bribes or any kind of disguised anomalous transactions. If your subordinates are feared for their lives to do the right thing, please fired them at once for they are just the thorns of your journey towards “Matuwid na Daan”.
GOOD LUCK for I am certain that there are miraculous rewards awaiting for the righteous but courageous individuals who offer their lives unselfishly for the good of the public . One for sure is fearlessness! No worries of any sort and best of all, you will find yourself to be so lovable, forgivable and respectable from the righteous people surrounds you. Why you care for the unrighteous? Send them instead to where they properly belonged where they might give themselves a chance to amend their evil ways instead of just tolerating them that lead to their early unscheduled appointment to HELL.

Di ngata far safer to ti trabaho yo if you could only muster enough courage (for once) to stand up with your own two feet against any form of lawlessness ta agsardeng to metten nga agdandanag dagiti mahal ninyo sa buhay? I don’t think your loved ones (in their right mind) especially your young children need more than anything else in life than your own life? Kaya pag napuksa na ang mga masasamang elemento, hindi kaya mas masayan to ang bonding-bonding mo sa kanila? What prostituted wealth can do if there’s always something missing in your life that you can’t understand why? Money is not the answer for you already have had some( although still counting) and yet you are not happy. Are you? Could you be honest with yourself for once?
May the good management cares to post our provincial/municipal candidates for the satisfying delight of our OFWs and Filipino Senior Citizens abroad that always curious to hear whatever news in our province. Thank you!

Great! Really? How about then the demonic forces who are mercilessly devouring their souls by tempting them or just tolerating them to hurt people especially the poor helpless, defenseless, and cowards like me? Are you really putting them out of jobs that will force them to move out somewhere or be out of the country permanently so that citizens of Abra will be finally benefited with the good governance of our current President with the full support of the righteous men and women behind him?

Posted by bagelbel | October 3, 2012, 12:43 pmWish ko lng na sana tingnan din ng COMELEC ang mga candidates for this coming election dahil baka ung mga kumakandidato ay mga maraming utang kaya ayaw nilang ibigay ang pwesto upang may pambayad sa mga sasakyan at mga resthouse at mga bahay na binibili at inutnag. Dapat required din ang lifestyle check sa mga dating officials na kumakandidato muli para siguraduhin na public service ang pakay nila at hindi pocket service.

Belmes: If you could really practice of what you are preaching there’s no doubt that in the years ahead you are instrumental in bringing peace and prosperity into our province thru the election of our righteous political leaders who are still hiding behind the scene. Be courageous and steadfast like of what the Comelec lawyer of La Paz just did and watch the best that has yet to come into our province because rightful leaders are to be elected on your watch. Are you the same person who has guts to do the right thing or different? If so, I really admire your acts and heaven forbid we want you or your kind to become one of our front leaders in Abra.

Bernadine Jopson, the whistle blower, also fits the need for a higher elective position because of her courage to do the right thing like you Atty. Belmes? You don’t need strong political back up as long as you could successfully convince the majority voters that you are the best alternatives ever for social political change that we had been clamoring for decades. Majority voters are now more intelligent to decide and courageous to do what is right especially if the different religious sectors are more than willing to offer their support for whatever justly or godly plans you have in minds. Could we wait for three years more? Sure..!!!!

The future of our young generation lies on how you handle our electoral processes (not just at present but during 2013 election and beyond) where our regards with your righteousness is so high and incomparable.
